The St Vincent De Paul' Mission is to seek and find those in need, to help them in a spirit of justice and to tackle the causes of poverty where we can. If you would like to help those in need within our Parish here at Colliers Wood, then please get in touch for more information.
The SVP society was formed in the 1830's by a group of students in Paris France. Whilst serving the poor and those in need, they were inspired by the example of St Vincent de Paul. They continued to serve with acts of charity to those in need face to face. This was to become a part of their spiritual formation. The St Vincent De Paul otherwise known as the SVP was later established in Great Britain by a group of men in London 1844.
